Tatenda Murimbika spent a decade at Mercedes-Benz dealerships before opening FixOn Auto in 2015, and his customers rate the workshop 4.6 out of 5 — yet online the business is only a map pin. We have built FixOn Auto a complete website in the colours of its own sign, a polished version of its logo, and an online booking system with a private workshop dashboard and WhatsApp messaging. This proposal presents all of it, what it changes, the value it creates, and the investment required.
FixOn Auto has done the hard part. Founded in April 2015 by Tatenda Murimbika — trained in automotive engineering and a technician at the Mercedes-Benz Bryanston and Strydom Park dealerships for ten years — it has earned a 4.6-star rating from 43 Google reviews. Customers call the team professional, responsive and good value.
But there is no website, no Facebook page and an Instagram account with no posts. Searchers see a map pin and a phone number, and none of Tatenda's dealership background. Worse, a search for "Fixon Auto Randburg" fills the page with Fix Auto — a different panel-beating network nearby — and Google even asks searchers if they meant Fix Auto instead. Bookings happen by phone, during hours, and are tracked by hand.
We have built three things: a six-page website (Home, Services, About, Reviews, Contact and Book Online); an online booking system with a private workshop dashboard to confirm, schedule and track every car from drop-off to collection; and one-tap WhatsApp messages to customers at every stage.
Nothing about the brand changes — it just gets sharper. Same name, the same steering-wheel "O", and the copper and navy from the sign outside your workshop, redrawn as crisp artwork that works on a phone, a WhatsApp profile and a new sign alike. The three-pointed star is kept off the logo itself: it is Mercedes-Benz's trademark, so the website says "Mercedes-Benz specialist" in words instead.
What changes is everything around it: Tatenda's story is told, the reviews are on show, customers can book a drop-off time at midnight, and the workshop sees every booking in one place — on a laptop or a phone.

This is not a mock-up. Switch between the website, the booking page and the workshop dashboard below, and between desktop, tablet and mobile. Make a test booking, then open the dashboard and watch it arrive.

A side-by-side view of how FixOn Auto appears online today, and what the new website changes.
| Area | Today (Google listing only) | With the new website & bookings |
|---|---|---|
| Being found | ✕Searches for the name return Fix Auto, an unrelated panel-beating network, and Google offers "Did you mean: fix auto". The listing shows "Add website". | ✓A website under FixOn Auto's own name, linked from the Google listing, with page titles written for "Mercedes service Randburg"-type searches. |
| First impression | ✕A map pin, a category ("Vehicle repair shop") and two photos uploaded in 2017. | ✓A full-width hero — "Dealer-trained Mercedes care, without the dealership" — with the 4.6-star rating and Book / WhatsApp / Call buttons in view on every phone. |
| The person behind it | ✕Tatenda's ten years at Mercedes-Benz Bryanston and Strydom Park are invisible to customers. | ✓An About page and home-page feature telling his story: automotive engineering, a decade at the dealerships, his own workshop since 2015. |
| Logo | ✕A thin, low-resolution logo uploaded in 2017; the sign uses different colours. | ✓One polished logo in the sign's copper and navy, supplied as print-ready files plus white and icon versions for WhatsApp and social media. |
| Reviews | ✕43 reviews in Google's order — the most prominent is a critical one with no reply; the best praise is several scrolls away. | ✓A Reviews page with the rating breakdown and the strongest comments — and a one-tap "ask for a Google review" message after every collection. |
| Bookings | ✕Phone only — and only during workshop hours. | ✓A booking page that shows real free drop-off times for the next three weeks, 24/7, and never double-books a slot. |
| Running the workshop | ✕Bookings kept in a diary or in someone's head. | ✓A private dashboard: new requests, today's drop-offs, cars in the workshop and cars ready — plus a week calendar, quotes, notes and an Excel export. |
| Customer updates | ✕Phone calls back and forth to confirm times, approve quotes and say the car is ready. | ✓Ready-written WhatsApp messages — confirm, reminder, quote, progress, ready for collection, review request — sent in one tap from the dashboard. |
| Hours & directions | ✕Hidden behind a dropdown on Google. | ✓A live "open now / opens at" line on every page, a full hours table, a map and one-tap directions. |
| Ownership | ✕Google decides the layout, what shows first and which competitors appear alongside. | ✓FixOn Auto owns its domain, its words, its customer list and its booking history. |
For a workshop, a website is not decoration. It is the place where a search turns into a booked car. Here is where the return comes from.
Customers who search for you by name currently meet a better-known, similarly named business first.
Mercedes owners look for someone who knows their car. Ten years at the dealerships proves it — once people can see it.
The reviews are already the sales pitch. The website puts them in front of every visitor, next to a booking button.
People notice a warning light at night and on Sundays. The booking page catches them; the dashboard organises them.
South Africans already run their lives on WhatsApp. Confirmations, quotes and "your car is ready" go out in one tap.
Most customers will find you on a phone, often on mobile data. The site is light, fast and built around a thumb.
One once-off fee for the complete website and booking system, with an optional monthly retainer to keep it fast, secure and current.
Once-off project fee
50% deposit (US$175) on commencement, balance on go-live. The site is already built — go-live in under two weeks of approval.
The site stays fast, current and secure — while you stay in the workshop
The build fee is US$350 with or without the retainer. Month-to-month — begin at go-live or later, cancel any time on one month’s notice. Fees exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Sign-off on this proposal and your chosen option; deposit invoice issued.
One review round: approve the logo, your story and the service list; confirm your WhatsApp number and RMI membership; send a photo of Tatenda and the workshop.
Domain and SSL set up, booking system switched to its live database, staff logins created, site deployed and linked from your Google listing.
A walkthrough of the dashboard on your phone, a plain-English guide, and the 30-day support window begins.
Approve the proposal and the FixOn Auto website can be live in under two weeks.
