From the dealership floor to his own workshop.
FixOn Auto is an independent Mercedes-Benz specialist in Kya Sand, Randburg — founded in April 2015 by Tatenda Murimbika.
Twenty years on Mercedes-Benz.
Tatenda Murimbika studied automotive engineering at the Harare Institute of Technology, then spent a decade as a technician at the Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Bryanston and Strydom Park. In 2015 he took that experience and opened FixOn Auto — a workshop that does one thing, and does it properly.
Today Mercedes owners from across Randburg and the north-west of Johannesburg bring their cars to Kya Sand for dealer-level know-how without dealership prices. Tatenda is still hands-on as owner and senior technician — the logo says it simply: we have the wheel.
